Watercolouring with inkpads

addicted to stamps n more anything goesHi all! Its Wednesday so another challenge starts over at Addicted to Stamps and More and the theme for this month is a favourite of most, “Anything Goes”! I look forward to seeing what you create for this theme.Watercolor with inkpads wmI did a little water colouring with my Harmony water-reactive ink pads from Spectrum Noir on Altenew’s beautiful stamp. The circle diecut behind the flower is an oldie but goodie diecut from Memory Box and I added a piece of card stock behind it to give it some interest.20191019_121813.jpgTo watercolour my image, I first stamped the ink pad onto an acrylic block and picked up the ink from there with my water brush. I then diecut the images and arranged them onto my card base.Altenew stampWell, I hope you’ll be inspired to play along with us at Addicted to Stamps and More and thank you for stopping by. I hope you’ll pop over to my teammates’ blogs to visit their wonderful creations too!

Have a wonderful day doing something you love!

  1. What a lovely floral card, Gwendolyn! Love the bright flowers and foliage and you have arranged them beautifully on the circle background. Those inks are so vibrant – perfect for watercolour!
    Have a great weekend.

  2. Such bright card, Gwendolyn! The colouring is amazing and that additional colour behind the die-cut dots, just love it! BTW you might want to check link on ATSM blog or ask Kylie, it’s 404.
