5 months to Christmas

Hi all! It’s already August! Where did half of this year go to already? Even though it’s scorching hot here in the little town of Ulm, Germany, it’s a good time to think of making Christmas cards so that there’s no rush during the busiest time of the year! And if you’ve made one, do show it to us at the Merry Little Christmas challenge blog as a new challenge starts today!

There was no water colouring with this card for a change for my double sided dies from Crafters Companion. What are 2 sided dies? You put your card stock on either side of the die and when you run it through your die cutter, it gives you 2 different dies! Saves a lot of time! the Merry Christmas die came from Crafters Companion too.

To make this card, I used an embossing folder from Crafters Companion, inked it and ran my card with it through my Gemini die cutting and embossing machine. It’s electric so my poor articulations don’t have to suffer anymore cranking the manual machine I had before! I then adhered my die cuts and sentiment and my card was done!

Well I hope you were inspired by my card to make one yourself and share it with us at the Merry Little Christmas challenge blog. I look forward to seeing your card there! Do pop by my fellow team mates blogs to admire the Christmas cards they made just to inspire you too!

Thanks for dropping by and have a great day doing something you love!

Hugs,

Your comments are like little virtual hugs to me, so thanks for the love!
