Hi all! Its Wednesday, so another challenge starts over at Addicted to Stamps and More and the theme for this month is CAS -clean and simple, meaning lots of empty space on your card!
I decided to go for an Autumn themed card as I just love the colours of the falling gold and yellow leaves everywhere. I used the stamp from Crafter’s Companion and did a watercolour resist with my Spectrum Noir water-reactive inks, on part of the stamped image. Which means I first heat embossed the stamped images and then watercoloured over them so that the embossed image will stand out as the colour just washes over it and doesn’t stay.
The diecut flower was cut from a piece of paper coloured with the same inks pads and cut with a Sizzix die. The “Thanks” sentiment from Stamplorations was diecut from white card stock.
Well, I hope you liked my card and that it will inspire you to join in our challenge over at Addicted to Stamps and More! Don’t forget to stop by my fellow teammates’ blogs to leave them some love too!
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
Hugs,
I’m also sharing this with:

Wow, this card just jumped out at me in the Gallery, the colours are gorgeous especially against all that brilliant, crisp white. You’ve definitely nailed a perfect CAS design and I love the large die-cut flower, how it overhangs the solid piece. Its one stunning card and I’m always so happy to see you at The Flower Challenge!!

Hi dear. I still live near Ulm, about 15mins from the centre. Where is your sister moving to in Ulm? Will you come to visit her? You can come since you are freer and we can have lunch here.
Kisses,
Gwen
